To view the Orjen Massif in its entirety and experience far reaching views of Boka Bay this circular hike is a must! Commencing with a gradual climb to ‘Sedlo Ridge’ you will be immediately rewarded with views of Boka bay and Mamula Island before continuing on through birch forests and fields enriched with wild flowers & herbs, to reach ‘Zljebska Jama’ (a natural hole in the ground, 95 meters deep) where in its depths, snow can be found all year around. The hike continues up to Veliko Cedilo peak which at 1466 meters above sea level, offers more spectacular views of Boka Bay and on to Grab peak at 1383 meters above sea level, where the remains of an old Austro-Hungarian boarder outpost can be found. After which a short descent, takes you to Kamenska Ravan (rock valley) and onwards to the mountain hut for a refreshment break. From the mountain hut it is downhill on a gravel track to reach the starting point.

This is a moderate to difficult hike for people aged 16 years +. The hike takes approximately 5 - 6 hours, with regular stops for photographs & breaks and during the summer months it is best to start early in the morning.
