For over 2000 years Montenegro has been cultivating olives with Lustica Peninsula specifically renowned for its quality of olive growth and traditional olive oil production.

Situated on the peninsula, overseeing Boka bay the Stojkovic family have been growing olives and producing oil for more than 400 years. To date they still use the traditional production methods which results in a domestic olive oil that has an extraordinary purity, flavour & character.

For selected groups they open their olive grove, mill & small holding to enable visitors to experience traditional Montenegrin olive oil production & to sample the finished product.

Olive Mill Excursion Itinerary (Departure time by arrangement)

  • Welcome drink on arrival (hosts are offering home made grappa, produced from grapes grown on their small holding)
  • Guided tour of the private Olive grove with explanations of cultivation & harvesting
  • Guided tour of the 400 year old Olive Mill to learn the ancient art of olive oil production.
  • Olive oil tasting accompanied by domestic wine & a traditional Montenegrin platter (wine, meats & cheeses produced on site by the Stojkovic Family).

  • Welcome drink – Homemade Grappa
  • Olive Oil Tasting
  • Traditional Montenegro platter* with domestic wine.

  • Boka bay sightseeing drive
  • Return transfer from Herceg Novi, Kotor, Tivat & surrounding areas.

Price:

45 Euros per person for a minimum of 4 people

*For an additional charge of 10 Euro/person the Traditional Montenegrin Platter can be replaced with a domestic three course lunch.
